Autism and the ‘pesticide factory’ inside our guts

PesticidesInGutStephanie Senoff, PhD, has spent the last three decades researching biology and technology and their relationship to ever increasing numbers of ‘lifestyle afflictions.’

These lifestyle afflictions include cancer, heart disease, autism and many others.

“At today’s rate, she said, quoted in the Alliance for Natural Health, “by 2025 one in two children will be autistic.”

According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, the rate of autism was one in 10,000 thirty years ago when he was in medical school. Twenty years later it was one in 88. Today it is about one in 50, one in 47 in Utah and one in 26 in New Jersey.

Dr. Senoff’s 170  peer-reviewed studies showed a growing link between increasing autism and glyphosate toxicity. As time passed farms and food became drenched in more and more Monsanto Roundup Ready, glyphosate-based pesticide.

Glyphosate-dependant crops such as genetically modified corn and soy are turned into by-products and derivatives that permeate everything from candies, soft drinks and cereals, and are present in nearly all processed foods that Americans eat today.

The amounts are small, Dr. Senoff said, but they are cumulative– not all the toxins are excreted, especially with an impaired digestive system. Gut flora are very sensitive to glyphosate.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., believes the skyrocketing rates of autism are the result of excessive exposure to toxins from multiple sources—food, environmental and medicine. These poisons deliver an overload that overwhelm developing bodies in pregnant mothers, and infants and young children. He says too many vaccines are given too young and they are not properly studied.

With each new introduction of vaccines since the early 1980s there has been a corresponding increase in the rates of autism, miscarriages and stillbirths. (Human and Environmental Toxicology Journal, 2012).

Mercola says that scientists are just beginning to learn about the functions of the human biome, and are starting to realize that bacteria may be responsible for many, if not most, of modern human health problems.

Autism is primarily a disorder of the brain, but research shows that nine of ten individuals with the disorder also have gastrointestinal problems.

Autistic children have fewer healthy bacteria and higher levels of toxins.

Dr. Campbell-McBride, who has developed a special diet for autistic children found that in her studies over many years, nearly all mothers of autistic children have abnormal gut flora.

In fact, these concerns have given rise to a new segment of research known as NUTRITIONAL psychiatry, with studies published in the Journal of Physiological Anthropology.

A recent scare that has come to light is the danger to the fetus of the mother receiving a flu vaccination while pregnant.

According to Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., “A powerful immune stimulation during the critical time of brain formation is high risk for autism.”

Whatever doubts and questions you may have regarding vaccines, do your own research—and be sure and include sources outside government and conventional medicine. Keep in mind that pharmaceutical meds, vaccines and pesticides are immensely profitable businesses.
